When the marketing team at CVS/pharmacy was launching a high-profile beauty line in collaboration with actress Salma Hayek they called upon their long-standing relationship with Stark Design to handle the marketing collateral (retail displays, signage, brochures, sample packettes and direct mail) for this sensitive launch.
Inspired by Salma's grandmother, Nuance blends exotic ingredients with the rich culture of her ancestors. These unique botanicals play a starring role in both the formulas and the branding. Equally important is Salma's vision of individual beauty which appears throughout in her personal quotes.
We were honored to be part of Nuance – one of CVS's top selling beauty brands and also named the "Launch of the Year: Mass” by WWD's 2011 Beauty Inc Awards. The continued success of Nuance has led us to design the Fall 2014 merchandising graphics, as well as the brand's first ad campaign.
