It was my birthday May 8th. A family trip and subsequent sugar coma has delayed this post for a couple weeks. I must report that my wonderful mother made lemon meringue pie, angel food cake with strawberry sauce AND chocolate chip cookies for my bday weekend. True love…
In the spirit of birthday celebrants everywhere, “let them eat cake.”
Suspended objects and lovely liquid typography, are part of a single photo in this charitable ad series for Harbour City Chocolate Trail, created by the art/design collective NAM. Its paired with a delicious Godiva Chocoiste shop and restaurant in Harajuku, Japan. This chocolate lovers mecca was created by Japanese interior design company Wonderwall, where chocolate seems to drip from the walls and ceiling.
Finally, it has arrived! This mood board is an ode to Ladurée's new Soho spot and its lovely confections, located just a few short blocks from my office. If only Marie-Antoinette had it so good. We're indulging our sweet tooth with some candied colors, macarons and tea party dresses. Despite the gushing product placement, unfortunately, this is not a sponsored post.
