Oversized, chunky sweaters were ever present on the runways for Fall 2014. Most chose to render a shapeless form. The designer Tamae Hirokawa of Somarta turns the endoskeleton inside-out for detailed 3D pattern made in ivory wool. The biomorphic reference led me to those great architects of gothic churches, who created an entire building language from the use of skeletal form.
Taking a look back at yesterdays post, I realize I coincidently went from the stuff of fluff (plumage) to the structural framework (skeleton).
