Be sure to plan your next family getaway or corporate retreat at The Lodge at Verbier, a stand-out among Sir Richard Branson's resort portfolio. This exceptional mountain chalet is comfortably nestled in the Swiss Alps, a brief walk from the celebrated town of Verbier.

The nine-bedroom chalet, including two Master Suites, is wrapped in a cream and Swiss-chocolate palette. The impression is a refreshing mix of contemporary and rustic alpine décor throughout the four floors. An open-plan kitchen invites guests to watch as the house chef prepares international or classic Swiss cuisine and includes full access to a selection of wine and spirits.

With “Four Valleys” to cover across the renown ski resort (accessed by a single pass), on-piste activities are sure to capture the imagination of most visitors. Beyond world-class skiing, the activities coordinator can organize snowshoeing, sledging, dog-sledding, para-gliding and heli-skiing.

Utilize the 24-hour driver service or ski back to the lodge. Then plant yourself in the spa treatment room for an out-of-body “cocoon” massage or enjoy use of the tranquil indoor/outdoor Jacuzzis and pool.

The Lodge is located 82 km/51 mi east of Geneva (map). It accommodates up to 18 adults and 6 children, looked after by a team of 13 experienced staff members. Although individual rooms can be reserved, preference is given for private chalet bookings. Rates vary widely from £560/nt for a single room to £89,550/wk for a peak season winter exclusive.
